House of Ink Art Studio
Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026. Plain-language explanation of what we collect and why.
Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly:
- Contact form: your name, phone number, message, and an optional reference photo.
- Tattoo consent form: your name, date of birth, phone number, emergency contact, health questionnaire answers, a photo of your government-issued ID, and your digital signature.
- Walk-in / appointment check-in: your name and phone number.
We don't use tracking cookies or ad pixels, and we don't sell or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
How We Use It
Contact and check-in information is used to respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate who's helping you when you visit. Consent form information — including your ID photo — exists to verify your age and identity before tattooing, document your health disclosures, and satisfy state record-keeping expectations for tattoo studios. Only staff logged into our internal system can view this information; it is never publicly accessible.
How Long We Keep It
Consent forms (including the PDF and ID photo) are kept on file as part of our studio records and are not automatically deleted. Contact messages and check-in records are kept as an internal history of shop activity. Staff can delete any of this on request at any time.
To save you from re-typing everything on your next visit, a smaller set of the information from your consent form — your name, date of birth, contact info, address, emergency contact, and health questionnaire answers — is also kept on your client profile, used only to pre-fill the consent form the next time you come in. This profile is never shown to anyone but shop staff, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Where It's Stored
Our website and consent form data are hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Consent form PDFs (including ID photos) are stored in a separate, access-controlled location that is never reachable by the public — only staff who log into our internal system can open them.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall site traffic. It's privacy-friendly by design — it doesn't use cookies or collect personally identifiable information, and it doesn't track you across other websites.
Text Messaging (SMS)
You can opt in to text messages from House of Ink Art Studio in a few ways: by checking the box on our online booking form, verbally when booking by phone or in person, by texting START to (254) 239-3811, or by replying YES to an opt-in invitation text sent by our staff. Once opted in, we'll text you appointment confirmations and reminders. You may also opt in to receive occasional promotional texts about deals and specials.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of booking an appointment or purchasing anything from us.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text, or by asking staff to update your preferences. Reply HELP for help, or see the Questions section below.
Third-Party Links
Our site links to Instagram, Facebook, and (on our Shop page) Amazon and merch partners. Once you leave our site through one of those links, that company's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Your Choices
If you'd like us to delete information you've submitted — a contact message, a consent form, or check-in record — call or message the shop and we'll take care of it.
